McKENDREE BASEBALL TEAM PLACES 10 ON NAIA-SCHOLAR ATHLETE SQUAD; BEARCATS LEAD ALL NAIA INSTITUTIONS IN HONOREES

(LEBANON, Ill., June 3)—The McKendree University baseball team led all institutions in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) with 10 honorees on the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team for the 2010 season. The NAIA announced on Wednesday that 195 baseball student-athletes from across the country qualified for the award.

(HANNIBAL, Mo., May 8)—A power outage that lasted just over an hour at Clemens Field proved to be an ominous sign for the McKendree University baseball team in a 2-1 loss late Saturday night to Park University in the consolation bracket of the 2010 American Midwest Conference Tournament in Hannibal, Mo.
