(Lebanon, Ill., August 31) – Senior midfielder Ashley Varns (Chatham, Ill./Glenwood) tied a McKendree University women’s soccer record with four assists to help lead the Bearcats to a 6-1 win over Central Methodist University (Mo.) on Tuesday night at Leemon Field.

(LEBANON, Ill., August 30)- The McKendree University women’s soccer team heads into the 2010 season with high expectations after ending last season with a 17-3-2 overall record and its seventh consecutive American Midwest Conference championship. The Bearcats lost five seniors to graduation, but return six starters, including two NAIA honorable mention All-America honorees, and also brought in a strong core of freshmen that will make an immediate impact on the program.

(LEBANON, Ill., August 17) – The McKendree University women’s soccer team will enter the 2010 season ranked No. 11 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll. The Bearcats were ranked No. 12 in the preseason poll in 2009.
